The Worme Bridge was a previous winner of the Short Story Day Africa award, and novel Cast Long Shadows was shortlisted for a British Fantasy Award. Their short story Godskin was shortlisted for both the British Fantasy Award and World Fantasy Award.
South-African born, Cat now lives in Scotland and is proud to call both countries home, drawing their inspiration from the mix of cultures and landscapes. When not writing, they can be found rambling with their dog Snufkin, or throwing themself at blocks of ice for fun and zero profit.
